Jordan Taimu leads defenders on panthers in UFL title game

Jordan Tamu passed for 390 yards and four touchdowns and DC Defenders hovering to win 58–34 over Michigan Panthers at the United Football League Championship game on Saturday night at St. Louis.

DC Jackson ran for two touchdowns as DC controlled with a second quarter of 31 points. Ta’amu completed 21 passes out of 28 and also ran for a score. He was named UFL Championship MVP for his efforts.

Jaydon Mickens had six receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown for defenders.

Regular season MVP Brys Perkins completed 21 passes out of 35 for a blockage for 338 yards, four touchdowns and Michigan. Malik Turner had 168 yards and 10 catches for three touchdowns, with 108 yards after a catch.

Ta’amu gave DC 38–19 lead with a 27 second lead with a 27 seconds with a TY scott with a 73-yard touchdown pass.

In the first drama of the fourth quarter, 1-yard Touchdown Pass from Bri Moore from Ta ‘AMU won it 52–19 and DC won it easy.

“We were playing within our crime and trying not to do much,” Ta “said. “We just wanted to play our game. We knew that we were better teams in this week. … It is one such real feeling.”

The guards excluded Michigan from 580–434. Kiondre Thomas had a blockage to DC.
