Back-to-back homes promote origin on angels

Both Sedric Mulins and Gary Sanchez scored a back-to-back home run in the sixth innings of three runs from the injured list, as Baltimore Oriols won 6-5 on Saturday and defeated Los Angeles’ angels for the second straight day.

Jordan Westberg scored two runs and Edle Rutsman, Kobi Mayo and Mulins all made two hits because eight Oils made at least one hit.

Keagan Akin (2–0) was the winning pitcher, giving a run in 1 1/3 innings of relief. Felix Botista dipped the ninth and saved his 14th, the final out required Nine-Pic attempts to exclude Logan O’Hope.

Luis Rengifo scored two domestic runs and Mike Trout also prepared for Los Angeles, while Taylor Ward picked up three hits and one RBI. Angills Starter Tyler Anderson (2-4) was accused of nine hits in a five-flour innings with six runs. He went four and hit two.

Orioles, who have won three of their last four matches, scored all three runs in sixth place before being recorded in advance. The rally started with the walk of Ramon Laureno, before Mulins gave a smack to his 11th homer and Sanchez chased his first 2025 long balls in his first game since 27 April.

Mulins returned from a right hamstring strain on Monday, while Sanchez was activated after recovering from the correct wrist inflammation on Saturday.

Baltimore allowed pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano to score three runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings. He hit four and launched a pair.

Two-Run Homer of Trout left the left field foul pole in the first innings. His first domestic run in about two weeks gave him 11 for the season.

Oriols got a run at the bottom of the innings on the groundout of Westberg. He pulled with two outs in the third on the single of Gunar Henderson with Westberg’s Go-Farward Single.

The fifth innings of the ward tied the score in the fifth and the leadoff home run of Rengifo placed Angels in sixth position. The eighth of the eighth single explosion of Rengifo from Andrew Kitchens was the third homer of the year.
