Earn 1-1 draw with timbers

Portland Timbers were denied the opportunity to avenge their Lamar Hunt US Open Cup necklace, which is to visit the San Jose earthquakes.
Timbers goalkeeper James Pentmis went on a last minute frustration strike from San Jose Defender Vitor Costa. Jude reached the door to slot the back of the Canadian.
Defender Juan Muskera scored his first goal of the season in the 71st minute, which further got away from a clever link-up play with Felip Mora, dashed the ball in the box to pound goalkeeper Daniel’s ball. This effort was sufficient to place Timbers (8–4-6, 30 digits) at the Western Conference.
Earthquakes (6-7-5, 23 digits) would be pleased with the draw, even they failed to sweep the season series against their conference rivals.
Till that point there was a relatively quiet case that was boiled at the beginning of the second half. Timbers forwarded and leading goal scorer Antony appeared to overlend a muscle in their legs after a physical challenge in Midfield. He was replaced with option Omar Fernandez in the 50th minute.
Two minutes later, the earthquake midfielder Ian Haraks was sent with another yellow card after a late collision with experienced Timbers Midfielder Diego Chara. The contact appeared modest, but the yellow card can be reviewed by video auxiliary referee.
San Jose Forward Amhal Palegrino was presented with the first 45 minutes’ seductive opportunity. A powerful strike by the earthquake, midfielder bee Leraux spread the Pentamis on the goal line. Palegrino revolted on what the visitors should go to move forward.
Timbers had two offside goals during the match. Even in defeat, Portland extended its unbeaten run at home to an impressive nine matches. Assistant coach Dave Van Dane Berg worked with Phil Neville as the manager of Portland.
