Red Bulls searched for a rare 4-game winning line at Clash vs. Austin FC

New York Red Bulls will have to produce an inverted form away from home to expand the three-game winning streak, as they visit Austin FC on Saturday night.
Red Bulls (8-6–3, 27 points) with a season-win winning line in League Play in the capital of Texas and eight-game regular-session unbeaten streak against opponents of the Western Conference. New York has not won four consecutive matches since 2021.
New York was inactive over the last weekend. Its most recent match was a 2–0 domestic win over Atlanta United FC on 31 May. Cameron Harper scored a goal and then assisted on Eric Maxim Choopo-Moting tally.
Harper’s goal – in the third minute – this season was the fastest of the Red Bulls.
New York coach Sandro Schwarz said, “I am very proud of the whole group that we are going together in the same direction.” “And also when you have some difficult moments in the season, which is normal, and that we are able to answer directly in such a way how we want to play.”
Red bulls are only 1-5-2 on the road this season.
Austin FC (6-7-5, 23 points) returns home after a two-match visit with a 2–0 win in Colorado last Saturday. The victory snatched the eight-match Wineless Streak (0-4-4) and was highlighted by five saves from Brad Stuver and Mickel Daler by the first MLS goal.
It was Austin’s first league victory since April 19 and a goal from a goal from Colorado and the seventh clean sheet of the Stolar season in the 66th minute.
“If we have the mentality that we are making something right towards the end of the season, we can succeed,” said Austin Coach Nico Estevez. “We have more quality than this year, and I think our players have taken it personally. We showed the identity of the ball and without (against Colorado).”
