Patrick Reeds makes the fourth albatros in the US Open History

Oakmont, PA.-621- With two swings on the yard hole, Patrick Reid made a fourth albatros in the US Open Recorded History and jumped into the controversy at the Omont Country Club.
Par-5 in the fourth hole, settled on the left side of the Drive Fairway of the Reid, the famous “church puzz” of Okmont at a distance of 286 yards from bunkers and holes.
Reid hit a fairway wood on the green color. The shot putting landed into the surface, took three hops and settled on its way, which left a little. His ball entered the left of the cup and settled in the hole behind the pin.
The 34 -year -old Reid did not initially know that he had pierced the shot. He asked if the shot had gone inside, then he gave speed to a spotter, then raised two fingers.
It was the first Albatros at the US Open after Nick Watni in 2012. The USGA has tracked the 3-under-back shots since 1983.
