Black Capricorn of avalanche won second Noris Trophy

Colorado avalanche aggressive-mind defenseman Kale Capricorn is the recipient of the James Noris Memorial Trophy for the second time in his career, NHL announced on Wednesday.
The award has been presented to the Defense Player that displays the largest all -round round capacity throughout the season, “the Profession Hockey Writers Association has been selected.

He joined the Hall of Fame members Bobby or (eight times), Dennis Potwin and Paul Coffee (three times), and Rod Langway (twice), as players to win several Noris trophies before the age of 27.
Makar took home to 176 out of the first place votes of 191 and recorded 1,861 voting points to win the Noris Trophy for the first time after 2021-22. He has been a finalist for the award in five of his first six NHL sessions.
Columbus Blue Jacket’s Zach Verenskey finished 13 first and finished with 1,266 points, while Vancouver Canx Captain Quin Hughes had two first -place votes and 918 points. The Hughes was trying to become the first repeated winner of the award as the Hall of Famer Niklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings had captured three consecutive consecutive consecutives from 2005-06 to 2007-08.
Makar opened the season with a 13-game point Streak. He included all NHL Defensemen in Gol (30), Assist (62) and points (92) this season.
