Pittsburgh Steellers Star TJ Watt is not participating in this week’s compulsory minicamps amidst the contract negotiations, which was estimated by the team.

The All-Pro Outside Linebacker, who is entering the final year of his current deal, was also a no-show for voluntary OTA, which was earlier in this offsen.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday, “Surely we would like to live here, but of course we are not surprised by him. We have expressed a desire to get the business we have done, and so we will continue to work. We have come here before.”

The 30 -year -old Wat, will be subject to more than $ 104,000 in fine if he misses all three days of minicamps. The NFL collective bargain agreement allows daily fines if the players are absent from compulsory offsen activities and practices without the team’s approval.

Since 2021, the market has gained momentum for Elite Pass Rasters, when Wat has signed a five -year, $ 112 million contract with a guarantee of $ 80 million.

In March, Cleveland Brens Defense and Miles Garat signed for four years, a $ 160 million deal with a guarantee of $ 123.5 million. It resets the market as the richest deal in NFL history for a non-co-operator.

Wat was selected in Pro Bowl in the last seven years, and he first created an all-Prop in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023. He was a 2021 defensive player of NFL after a career-high 22.5 bags.
