WTA Roundup: Amanda Anisimova held rallies in the rear of Jodi Bureauz in London

Number 8 Seed Amanda Anisimova won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 over the Great Britain’s pair of Great Britain to open the HSBC championship in London on Monday.
Bureauz initially broke Aneesimova to control the first set. The American had equalized 2–2 in the second before winning four of the last five matches and three of the third set of the third set to stiff the troubled efforts of the house-krude favorite. Anisimova had 12 aces for nine of the barage and saved 3 out of 3 break points.
