Sai Reformson may be the next Virat Kohli, Monty predicts Panesar

The first class number of reforms is not great, but his continuity in white ball cricket is out of this world. He even improved Kohli in the most recent IPL.

Now for more than 50 years, a batting superstar has been the face of Indian cricket. From the 1970s to the 1980s, it was Sunil Gavaskar. Sachin Tendulkar captured Mental for more than 2 decades and posted his retirement in 2013, it belongs to Virat Kohli. But, not for a long time.

After retiring from Test and T20I cricket, Kohli will not be the face of Indian cricket for a long time. Someone will take new. Will it be Shubman Gill, which was labeled as ‘Rajkumar’ because Kohli was called ‘King’, in fact saying that Gill is in the next line? Or maybe Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is one of the best test batsmen since its debut in 2023?

Recently, Monty Panesar specifically spoke in Insidesport, where he shared how Sai Sudarshan could be the next Indian superstar and someone who could be the next Virat Kohli.

Sudha, next Kohli of India?

Panesar has seen good governance performing with up. The 23 -year -old, the talented 23, has represented Surrey in the County Championship for the last 2 years and has done well. Their techniques and nature have stood out. It is not easy to excel in English conditions, but reforms has successfully done so. And that’s why Panesar gives him high rate.

He thinks that Sudhar has all the necessary skills to excel in international cricket, especially tests. He believes that Southpo could be the next batting superstar, such as Virat Kohli was in the last decade, and even in Test cricket, he can take his number four position.

“There are some very good youth in the team at this time. A special batsman is a Surrey Sudrasana. He looks very aggressive and fearless. He is a player who has done well in English position and for Surrey. I think he can be the next superstar of Indian cricket and is in the role that Virat Kohli did on number four,” Panesar told the Insidesport.

Take Kohli’s test spirit

On a comprehensive note, Panesar also talked about seeing Kohli’s spirit to the new Indian Test team. The former captain has always been high on red-ball cricket. That’s all, that after winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time, he shouted Test cricket and claimed that it is much higher than winning the IPL Trophy.

“One thing I want to do is on Virat Kohli’s legacy. The way he played Test cricket, I would like to see the young Indian Test play like this,” The former spinner said.
