Uncutated streak 11 hits as whitakaps blank sounders

Kishori Jeevan Badwal scored his first MLS goal as hosts Vancouver Whitcaps on Sunday night extended his unbeaten line in 11 matches with a 3–0 win against Seattle sounders.

Daniel Rios and Damir Cralach also scored for the MLS-Living Whitcaps (10–1-5, 35 points), which are 6–0-5 during their run.

While whitcaps entered the short-handing in the Cascadia Cup Shodown, in which nine players away for international duty and many others, including Badwal, suspected after a gastrointestinal disease, the Cruz Azul for the previous weekend, the last weekend, was shed by the team’s journey to the Maxico City for the previous weekend.

Rios helped win with a 20-yard strike in the upper left corner of the net in the 70th minute.

Cralach, who came to Badwal Midway through the second half, scored from a penalty spot in the 88th minute, when Sabbi was tried by Joao Paulo of Seattle.

The wide of the right post was missing with both efforts of quality scoring in the first half to the sounders. The first Alex came from the top of the 6-yard box in the second minute from the top of the box at a volley. The second 31st minute came on a 15-yard shot by Pedro de la Vega from the left side of the penalty region.
