Yoshinobbu Yamamoto, Doesers seek bounce-back outing vs. cards

Los Angeles Dojers hopes that the typical Yoshinobu Yamamoto emerged again on Saturday when they continue their road series against St. Louis Cardinals.
Yamamoto (6-4, 2.39 ERA) lost 7-3 to New York Yankiz on Sunday, with 11 or more innings. He conceded seven hits in 3 2/3 innings and four runs on three walks.
He will turn in the middle game between a three-game set. Cardinals won the opener 5–0 on Friday.
“Just a little away. The execution was not a little away. The execution was not a strike. Do not go away with two strikes, do not remove people with two strikes.”
Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts dropped Yamamoto out of the game to hit the reset button.
Roberts said Postgeam said, “Was not sharp with any of his pitch. In fact unwanted,” Roberts said Postgame. “Around the 90-picch mark through four innings. There is not much benefit to continue to push it there. He definitely did not feel good today. You have just got to wash it.”
At the beginning of his sole career against Cardinals, Yamamoto played five scorer innings on two hits in March 2024. He killed five batsmen and no one went.
Yamamoto will face a St. Louis lineup anchored by the first Basman Wilson Contraras, who woke up a Homer on Friday night to expand his hitting streak in seven matches. It is a 9 -for -26 (.346) during the stretch with four couples and eight RBI.
Cardinals Pitcher Miles Micols said, “Her desire to win and the intensity that she brings, is a good example to set for the youth because they see how hard she works, how much she cares and how intense is in every bat, whether we are below 10 or 10,” Cardinals Pitsi Miles Micolas said. “He is never giving anything.”
Cardinals moved the contrarass on a basis before catcher in 2025 and placed it in a healthy and everyday lineup.
“The goal for this year was to be healthy and play on the basis every day before,” Contrais said, who played in 59 of the first 63 matches of the team. “But on the first basis, my body also hurts and occurs in the throat because it is not an easy situation.
“There is a lot on the basis every day before. I help in any way to play here every day and help this team.”
Cardinals will compete with Yamamoto with Eric Fedded (3-5, 3.82 ERA), who held two runs on four hits and three runs in six innings on Sunday. He beat five.
Fedde will catch the doseers coming from a disappointing aggressive game. Los Angeles went to 1 -far -13 with runners in a scoring position on Friday.
“Man, this is a hard lineup that does a ton damage, which does not swing and does not miss a ton,” said the manager of the cardinals Oliver Marmol. “They have a lot of versatility how they can beat you …
“Today (Catcher Pedro) page and a good job between our pitching staff.”
In his career, three shows against Fedded Dojers (two beginnings) have 1–1 with 2.77 ERA.
