But Pirates picked up their starter, scoring two in the bottom half of the fourth innings, on Davis’ two -run domestic run. Davis entered the game in the third innings, when Andy Rodriguez left the game with the inconvenience of the right elbow.
Pirates Reluver David Bednar (1-4) excluded the side to the ninth to tie the game.
