Bo Levi Mitchell aims to win the regular season’s regular season’s winning, when the quarterback’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday faced host Calgary Stampaders in the season opener for both teams.

Michelle will start his 141st career and be the fastest to reach 100 with a win. The current mark is organized by Ron Lancaster, who reached 100 wins in its 149th beginning.

Michelle is aware of the upcoming milestones, but is more interested in bringing Hamilton at a good beginning as he goes against his former team. The 35-year-old Mitchell acted for Calgary from 2012-22 and led the franchise to two gray cups (2014, 2018) and twice the most outstanding player (2016, 2018) of CFL.

Despite the league-high 5,451 passing yard from Mitchell, Hamilton was just 7-11 in the last season. He threw 32 touchdown passes for Tiger-Cat, who last won the gray cup in 1999.

“CFL has no reconstruction because there is a lot of movement in the league,” Mitchell said. “When you are playing for this team and this city, you listen to all the gallows about 1999. Our job is to go out and be the next group (to win).”

Mitchell started his college career at SMU and later acted for East Washington in 2010-11. One of his companions was Vernon Adams Junior, who took over to start the quarterback in 2012 and enjoyed three big sessions before completing his career in Oregon.

32 -year -old Adams is entering this 10th CFL season and is his first with Calgary. He was passed for 2,929 yards to BC Lions in the previous season, while interrupted by knee injury, a year after posting a height of 4,769 yards and 31 touchdown career.

Adams said, “I am excited for the opportunity for people, team and organization to get out and put it in a good show.” “And this is what we intend to do.”

Revamped Calgary wants to bounce back from a record of 5–12-1, which eliminated a bright streak of 18 straight playoffs appearances.

Calgary coach Deve Dickenson said, “We have to keep it behind. It is easy because there are not really many people from that team.” “We don’t really talk about it. We understand that history is history and it is definitely something that will always be for those who were (here) in 2024, but it is definitely a big team of a big time.”
