Mets SS Francisco Lindor out of lineup with broken legs on Thursday

Louisangel Ekuna is painted in the New York Met’s Lineup on Thursday afternoon as a four-time all-star Francisco Lindor, a four-time all-star Francisco Lindor, as an initial shortstop against Los Angeles Dozers, takes a seat to deal with a broken toe.

Lindore was hit by a pitch in the first innings of Wednesday’s Met’s-Dojors game, but his feet were helped and all the nine innings of Met’s 6–1 victory. Postgame X-ray revealed a broken pinky toe in his right leg for a wrong tony gonsoline slider.

Sitting at the beginning of Thursday’s game, Lindor will be out of the leadoff spot of Mates for the second time throughout the season. He missed out 10–4 against Miami Marlins after his son, Koa’s birth on 31 March.

Lindor said he is working through pain and will be evaluated daily to determine its availability.

“It hurts,” Lindor said. “And even more when you’re wearing shoes.”

Lindor is batting. 279 14 domestic runs, 36 RBI and 11 stolen locations this season.

The 23 -year -old Ekuna enters .246/.298/.292 slash line in Thursday’s game with 11 stolen bases in the slash line and 53 games. He is the younger brother of Braves outfielder Ronald Ekuna.
