The Max Fried Dose was unbeatable for about two months in its first season with New York Yankis until running at Los Angeles Dojers at the Stadium.
With his first defeat of the season, Fried’s purpose is to begin another win on Thursday night when Yankis hosts the parents of Cleveland.

Jose Ramirez doubled his on-base streak to increase to 30 games and also started two double-dung plays from Cleveland. Ramirez is killing .390 (46-for-118) during his on-base stric, which is two shy from the high set of his career in 2018.
“He is one of the best players on the planet,” Vogue said about Ramirez.

Slade Sekoni (1–1, 5.28) makes its fourth start since entering the rotation of Cleveland. Acquired by Arizona Diamondback for Josh Niler, Sekoni was the worst in those outings when they allowed five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings during a decision against Los Angeles Angels on Saturday without any decision.
Sekoni’s lone career appearance against Yenkis took place in New York on September 22, 2023 when he played 2/3 innings in relief and allowed a home run to the judge.
