The new Test will leave for London on 6 June along with Captain Shubman Gill with head coach Gautam Gambhir.
India’s new Test captain, Shubman Gill, will address the media at 7:30 pm today before leaving for England before the Industries vs Eng Test series. Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir will also be with the captain. The Captain-Koch pair will have a difficult task on their hands after losing two consecutive test chains, including 0-3 whitewash for New Zealand and 1-3 darbing by Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Shubman Gill, Sai Reformson and others will leave for England on 6 June. India will play a four -day closed door practice match against India in Bekennham, London starting on 13 June. Gill and Gambhir have a lot to respond, as the entire batting order is set for an amendment, except for the early location of Yashasvi Jaiswal, including Captain Jill. India has not won a test series in England since 2007. Therefore, it would be an additional pressure on the young captain, which failed to strengthen its position in India’s test XI.

Difficult challenge ahead
After the disappearance of the WTC final spot, the new test cycle will begin in Leeds on 20 June. Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma left Test cricket, Shubman Gill will lead an inexperienced squad. KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Karun Nair are the only players with meaningful experience in batting in English conditions.
However, India’s bowling department looks stronger than England. England will remember Jofra Archer, Mark Wood and Gus Atkinson for 1 Test. Wood is likely to remember the entire series, while Archer and Atkinson are ready to be part of the series at some point.
