Philadelphia Philis will know more about the status of Catcher JT Realmuto before the rubber match of its three-game series against host Toronto Blue Jais on Thursday afternoon.

Realmuto left the game ninth of defeat to Toronto on Wednesday, when he took a dishonest ball in the groin area. He was replaced by Rafael Maran.

“He is checking out,” said Rob Thomson, manager of former catcher, Phillies, a former catcher. “This is very good. He said that he is worse, but we will see.”
