The MI middle-order star finished the season with 717 runs to his name from 16 matches, registering his best season so far. MI were knocked out of the IPL 2025 playoffs race after losing to PBKS in Qualifier 2.
SKY crowned IPL 2025’s MVP
Suryakumar finished the season with 717 runs to his name, averaging, 65.18. He struck five half-centuries in the course of the tournament, emerging as MI’s highest run-scorer in IPL 2025. SKY is the second MI batter to win the Most Valuable Player of the season award after Sachin Tendulkar in 2010.
