RCB denied Vijay Parade in Bengaluru after winning 1 IPL Cup

RCB team members will not participate in a victory parade in Bengaluru on Wednesday, the traffic police has informed

There will be no victory parade for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday. The Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory categorically stating that there will only be a felicitation function for the team at the M Chinnaswamy stadium. RCB ended their 18-year-wait to lift the IPL trophy after beating PBKS by 6 runs in IPL 2025 final.

No victory parade for RCB

Taking to social media platform X, Bengaluru traffic police advised citizens to avoid roads around the Chinnaswamy stadium and Vidhan Soudha between 3 PM to 8 PM as the felicitation ceremony is set to take place between 5-6 PM.

Earlier, reports stated that RCB team members were set to meet Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah at the Vidhan Soudha following which there would be a bus parade till the Chinnaswamy stadium.

Updated RCB celebration schedule

  1. Visit Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah at the Vidhan Soudha – 4-5 PM
  2. Celebration event at M Chinnaswamy stadium – 5 PM-6 PM

RCB vs PBKS, IPL 2025 final

Punjab Kings lost by 6 runs as they failed to chase down 191-run target. Shashank Singh remained unbeaten on 61 off 30 balls but it wasn’t enough. Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 190/9 after being sent to bat. Virat Kohli top-scored with 43 while there were contributions from Jitesh Sharma, Mayank Agarwal and Liam Livingstone. Arshdeep Singh bagged three wickets in the final over while Kyle Jamieson scalped three wickets for 48 runs. Earlier, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first. Both teams went unchanged with Tim David missing out for RCB with an injury.
