Belmont post posts set as sovereignty, journalism class off

Kentaki Derby Champion Sovereignty will start from inside and Preakness Champion Journalism will begin when Belmont Stax is held on Saturday at Shartoga Springs, NY
Post posts for the area of eight were announced on Monday and sovereignty landed at 2 places, while journalism would break down from 7. Baja, who finished third behind sovereignty and journalism in Kentaki Derby, will start from 6 places.
Journalism is listed as 8-5 favorite and is the only horse in the region that runs in both Kentki Derby and Prekness. Sovereignty, which left prekness, is 2–1. Baeza, which is 4–1, also did not run in prekness.
Belmont Stax is being held at the Saratoga Race Course for the second straight year, while renewing on the Belmont track at Elmont, NY, which leaves the final race of three triple crown events at a distance of 1 1/4 miles instead of its traditional 1 1/2-mile jaunt.
Hill Road 1 will start out of the gate and will be on Rodriguez 3. Unclassed (4), crude (5) and heart of honor (8) out of small area.
Rodriguez recalled both Kentki Derby and Precane due to a rift in an Hind Khur. The horse will certainly support betting 6–1 due to the win in the Wood Memorial in April.
