Mercury rally due to lack of 13 points to defeat sparks

Sato Sabli and Monic Akoa Makani’s Late-Game 3-Pinner on Sunday helped Phoenix Merkari to complete their return from a 13-point halftime deficit in a 13-point halftime deficit in the 85-80 road win on Los Angeles Sparks.

Phoenix (5–2) with Los Angeles fell 50–37 at 50–37 at the intervention of the commissioner’s cup-opening competition. But a major third quarter, taking out the sparks out of 24–9 in the frame, set the platform for a back-end-final period.

Sami Whitcomb added 11 points, six rebounds and five support, while Akaa Makani finished with 10 points, six support and five boards.

Los Angeles’s Odyssey Sims led all the scorers with 32 points, since posting Career-Hai 39 back in July 2014.

Deerica Hambi had 15 points and eight rebounds for sparks. Plum also scored 15 points, but shot 2 -10 to 2 -10 dismantling 2 -10 as Los Angeles fell into its second three -game skid in the WNBA season.
