Blue Jais put Dolton Varsho (Hamstring) on ​​10-day IL

Toronto Blue Jais put outfielder Dolton Varsho on Sunday with a left hamstring injury in the 10-day injured list.

Varsho on Saturday retained the injury by trying to take out a triple during the third innings of Toronto’s 8–7 victory over athletics.

Miles Straw will get a beginning in the center field and will be at the eighth place in the lineup for the conclusion of the Sunday series.

The 28-year-old Varsho is batting. 207 This season with a team to go with 20 RBI in 24 matches this season with eight homeers.

Also on Sunday, Blue Jais recalled Utilityman Davis Schneider from Triple-e Buffalo, activated Eric Swanson, who relieved the 60-day injured list, and the left-handed Easton Lucas was selected at Triple-A Club.

The 26 -year -old Schneider along with Blue Jais has gone with 1 -for -15 and eight strikes with one RBI and eight strikes in 10 matches this season.
