Andrew Heney, Pirates’s Bulpen shut down Reds

Adam Frasier and Henry Davis did each two hits and one RBI, supported a strong start from Andrew Honey and defeated hosts Pittsburgh Pirates 3–1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Pirates won a back-to-back win together and won a series for the first time against Los Angeles Angels on 22–23 April. Reds dropped the back-to-back game after winning five consecutive consecutive consecards.

Pittsburgh once again won in the duality of low scoring pitchers, as Honey (3-3) gave four strikes in five innings and gave a run on three hits and two walks.

Brady Singer (5-3) played five innings for Cincinnati, scoring two runs and three runs on five hits, while fanning three.

Pirates were quickly killed in the first innings when Vanil Kruz sang and Isiah Kaneer-Felfa chased with a double. Brian Reynolds fired a sacrifice in the cruise with a fly.

Reds tied the game to the top of the third when Austin Haze ran into the Santiago Aspinal, who sang the first two batsmen with two outsiders.

Pittsburgh placed two runners to start fourth and capital, when Davis left a ball to score K’Brian Hayes.

Tommy Fam also made two hits for pirates.

Reds were limited to four hits and only Tyler Stephenson hit an additional-base with Chase Shugart in the sixth innings. However, in the drama, the Spencer Steer, who had previously gone into the frame, was thrown on a good relay throw from the fum-fila on a plate of the house, when the fome withdrew the ball quickly from the left area.

Bulpen of Pittsburgh did the remaining work as Shugart, Tanner Raini, Kaleb Ferguson and Dennis Santana, which was held to Reds for a hit. Santana raised his fifth savings, killing two in the ninth.

Hayes scored an insurance run at the eighth place when he doubled at the center and came home on a single by Frazier.
