White Sax Sign RHP Adrian Hausar, to start vs meriners on Tuesday

Veteran -free agents are signed a year, $ 1.35 million contract with Chicago White Sox in a year, and will start the game against Seattle Meriners at the beginning of their season on Tuesday.

In the same move, White Sox nominated the right -handed Yondris Gomez for assignment.

White Sox had determined the right-handed Bryas Wilson (0–2, 6.00 ERA) to start. Wilson, who performed 10 out of 11 of his first 11 as a reliever this year, began 0–1 with 7.20 ERA in May 3. On Thursday, he allowed Cincinnati Reds seven runs and 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings for road damage.

32-year-old Houssar has a 32-39 career record with a sev, a 4.21 ERA, 244 walks and 484 strikeouts 608 2/3 in innings for more than 152 regular-season games (104 start) Millvauki Breves (2015, 2018-23) and New York Mets (2024).

The Texas Rangers Organization released Hauser last Thursday last Thursday when it moved 2–2 with 5.03 ERA in 391/3 innings in nine games (eight start) for Triple-A Round Rock this season.

25-year-old Gomez allowed 0–0 with 8.10 ERA, five hits, this season, in three relief appearance, two walks and two strikeouts were done in 3 1/3 innings.
