The latest details of the use of recreational drug of Kagiso Rabada emerge: “Cocaine …”

Pesar Kagiso Rabada of South Africa recently gave a provisional ban for the use of recreational drugs. After playing just two matches for the Gujarat Titans (GT) to return home last month, 29 -year -old left the IPL, where he served the month ban and further completed an education and awareness program to prevent drug abuse. According to a report by the South African newspaper, during the SA20 earlier this year, a metabolite of cocaine benzoylecagonin (Bze) was found on their urine samples.
The report stated that Rabada’s legal team demonstrated that their cocaine was out of competition because concentration (less than 1,000 nanograms per milliliter) suggested prior use, not the use of the day of test.
“He was smart to get down from that route,” said Khalid Galant, CEO of South African Institute for Drug-Frew Sport (SAIDS). “If you know that you have done this, it saves you time and legal fee.”
In a statement issued by GT last month, Rabada “sorry” for his actions.
“South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) has completed the investigation. Rabada has honored its provisional suspension and has also completed a program. It is now fully available for selection in the remaining matches of IPL.”
The statement did not specify the length of the suspension.
Rabada, who played only two matches for Gujarat in this season of the T20 tournament, was “sorry” for his works.
“This moment will not define me. I will keep doing what I have always done, working hard and playing with passion and devotion to my craft,” Rabada said.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the IPL was suspended for a week in the midst of increasing tension between India and Pakistan on the border.
The tournament may resume with an India and Pakistan at the end of next week, currently under a ceasefire agreement.
