New Delhi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi on Wednesday, to reach Landmark in just 20 balls in just 20 balls during India’s third match against England, attacked the second fastest fifty by an Indian in the Under -19 ODI history. The 14 -year -old left -handed batsman scored 86 runs, with six fours and nine huge sixes, chasing a rigid target of 269 in a 40 -over competition, six fours and nine with huge sixes.Only Rishabh Pant has scored fifty fifty for India in this format, making his way off 50 runs off 18 balls against Nepal in 2016.Suryavanshi has been in red-hot form throughout the series. He played an important role in India’s major victory, set a tone in the initial match with 48 runs in 19 delivery.In the second ODI, he continued his excellent run with 34 balls, but India only decreased as England defeated the five-match series 1–1 to win an exciting one-verse.His latest knock came under pressure, as India saw to gain an edge in the series amidst a steep chase.
