Forward Noah Kates on Tuesday agreed to expand the contract of four years, $ 16 million with Philadelphia Fliers.
The 26 -year -old Kates recorded a career -high 16 goals to go with 21 aid and a plus -3 rating with flyers in 78 matches this season.
He was playing in the final campaign of the contract of two years, $ 5.25 million and this offsen was designed to become a banned free agent.
In the fifth round of the 2017 NHL draft, Kates has scored a total of 102 points (40 goals, 62 assistance) in 235 career games since Philadelphia was selected. He made his NHL debut on March 29, 2022.
