4-Star WR Messiah Committees for Hampton Oregon

Munro Wide Receiver Messiah Hampton achieved the yard after a catch as he takes Clarence’s AJ Didas below the ground at Monroe High School on Saturday, September 7, 2024 during his season opening game.

The four-star broad receiver Messiah Hampton committed Oregon’s 2026 orbit.

Hampton came to know about Duck’s receiver coach, Ross Douglas, when the coach worked in the Syracuse. Douglas recruited Hampton, who then plays at James Monroe High School at Rochester, NY.

And when Douglas went to Oregan in February, he was interested in 6-foot-1, 180-pound wideout Hampton.

Hampton selected Oregon from the list of finalists announced in May on Friday, including Pen State, Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia and Miami, as well as Sirakuse.

He made official trips for Syracuse and Miami in the last few weeks.

Hampton recently told 247Sports that her choice of the school would be based on where she could see the most development and where she fits himself in an aggressive plan.

Hampton made 869 yards and 56 catches for eight touchdowns in the 2025 season.

The 247Sports Composite Hampton lists the number 11 wide receiver at the national level and the number 1 player in New York.
