3B Paul Dejong (nose) place on IL after HBP

A day later when he was killed on the face with a pitch, Paul Desong, the third baseless Washington National’s third-day, was placed on a 10-day injured list with a fragmented nose on Wednesday.
To fill Dijong’s roster spots, Washington recalled the Infielder Try Lipscomb from Triple-e Rochester.
In the sixth innings of Tuesday’s 3–0 win over hosts Pittsburgh Pirates, Dedong was killed in nose from Pirates Starter Mich Keller with 92.7 mph fastball.
31 -year -old Dijong immediately went down and for a few moments the team instructors participated. He then went out of the field and in a dugout holding a towel on his face.
A nine -year -old veteran, Dijong, is hitting two RBI in 16 matches this season, which is his first with citizens.
He is St. Louis Cardinals (2017-23), Toronto Blue Jais (2023), San Francisco Giant (2023), Chicago White Socks (2024), Kansas City Royals (2024) and National with 140 domestic runs in 884 career games with Royals (2024) and National.
