After turning into one of the most full efforts of the season, the Chicago cubs face hosts Miami Marlins in a three-game rubber match on Wednesday afternoon.

Seya Suzuki hit the two-run homer for the sixth innings of eight runs and Jameson Talel threw seven innings of a run ball of one run ball in Chicago’s 14–1 victory on Tuesday.

“At a time when we really needed it, we found a crime to good pitching and supporting it,” said Cubes Manager Craig Counsel. “We were a little tight in Bulpen and they are working hard. Credit to give us seven strong innings (Talel).

The cubs matched a season high with 21 hits, which included eight during the decisive sixth innings.

“Unfortunately, we can’t really stop bleeding,” said Miami Manager Clayton McCulla. “They did a good job of stringing some at-bats together. To barely turn in an innings so quickly for things, but how does the game go.”

Marlins’s loan run came on a homer by catcher nicks, who is dividing the time behind the plate with miscreants, Agustin Ramirez and Liam Hicks.

The cub will send Horton (2–0, 6.00 ERA) to the mound in a right-handed battle against Max Mayor (3-4, 4.47) on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Horton was effective at the beginning of his first Major League on Friday, scoring three runs in five innings in a 13–3 win over Chicago White Sox.

“He looked great,” said the fielder Pete Crow-Armestrong of the cub center. “He is a contestant, so capable of going there for five innings, it is impressive after giving two (runs) quickly.”

Horton was ranked seventh in total in the 2022 draft and launched its major league on 10 May when he threw four innings of relief against New York Mets. He also won the game despite scoring three runs.

The 26-year-old mayor on Friday allowed four runs (three earned) in five innings in a 9–4 win over Tampa Bay rays.

“The luggage really felt fast,” the mayor said. “Later, perhaps bending slightly from fastball. It should have gone back, but I can’t complain about how I feel now. My luggage looks good. I am starting to tighten everything, so now it is true to throw some pitches and I think we will straighten.”

The mayor introduced 7.16 ERA in its last three, which was a 3.18 point in its first six outing this season.

The mayor is ready to start his second career against the cub. On August 23, 2024, he allowed three runs (two earned) in six innings in the No-decision.

Chicago re -included the team after the fielder Ian Hap on Tuesday disappeared with a left diagonal tension. Happy, back to the leadoff spot, went to 1 -for -6 with RBI single.

Since being withdrawn from Triple-e-Iowa, cubs have received a welcome spark from the third baseless Matt Shaw, who stayed in their first two matches. Batting ninth in Shaw order is 4 -for -9 with two RBI.

Shaw opened the season with the cub and with a home run. 172 and three in 18 matches with the RBI. The team’s top probability was selected for Triple-e-Iowa on 15 April and earned a return journey for Major after recording a back-to-back games with two domestic runs last week.
