Sometimes, the teams of the World Series are two clubs, which started setting themselves as a favorite preferred by the beginning of May. While they were yet to lead their respective leagues, Los Angeles Dojers and New York Yankis were playing every 23–13 today a year ago.

American League

Chicago cub (22–14): The cubs are an average of six runs per game, which keeps them at the speed to finish with the most runs since 2000 White Sox (978).
